Beginning 2022 with a New Year’s Walk and Celebration

Dear Still Water Friends,
You are warmly invited to join the Still Water community on New Year’s Day for a walk and celebration at the Audubon Naturalist Society's Woodend Sanctuary.
We will begin at 10:00 am with individual and small group silent walks along the accessible trail and on the secondary trails in the 40-acre Woodend Sanctuary.
Around 10:30 am we will gather for making name tags, introductions, tea, snacks, and songs.
Around 11:00 am we will receive Tao Te Ching and Pooh Wisdom Oracle readings for 2022 and share our readings with others.
Around 11:30 we will begin social strolling, enjoying the landscape, flora, and fauna, and stopping to chat with new and old friends.
We will have a closing bell around 12 noon.
Friends and family are welcome. All participants are asked to follow CDC and Montgomery County covid guidelines for outdoor events. Because it is a wildlife sanctuary, dogs and other pets are not allowed in the sanctuary.
We would love to have you join us.
The Woodend Sanctuary is located at 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, Md.
