The winter’s first sprinking of snow seems like a good time to remind everyone of our weather cancellation policies. When there is a storm, we like it best when everyone is safe and no one travels to find a locked door.
Still Water Weather Cancellation Policies
Thursday evening gathering: Cancelled when Montgomery County Schools have closed for the day or afternoon, or when school-sponsored evening events are cancelled.
Sunday evening gathering: Cancelled when the Yoga Studio of Columbia has cancelled its Sunday morning classes. (Notice of cancellation is provided on the Yoga Center’s phone line (410) 720-4340) and on their web site (www.columbiayoga.com).
Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning sitting at Crossings: Cancelled when Montgomery County schools are closed or have a delayed opening.
Tuesday, Thursday morning sitting at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church: Cancelled when Montgomery County schools are closed or have a delayed opening.
Wednesday morning sitting at Circle Yoga: Cancelled when District of Columbia schools are closed or have a delayed opening.
Friday afternoon sitting at Friends House: The sitting will take place for Friends House residents regardless of the weather. Non-residents use their own discretion about driving to Friends House.
