This class is intended for both new and experienced practitioners. We will read together Andrew Weiss’ Beginning Mindfulness: Learning the Way of Awareness. The book is available for purchase online as a hard copy or Kindle book (https://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Mindfulness-Learning-Way-Awareness/dp/1577314417).
Mindfulness meditation is surprisingly simple and remarkably subtle. As we continue to grow in mindfulness, we increasingly develop concentration, cultivate inner stillness, calm our minds, and recognize and accept feelings and emotions.
Join us as we explore conscious breathing, sitting practice, walking meditation, and mindfulness in everyday life.
The fee is $120 for the entire six-session course. (A reduced fee schedule is available for those for whom the course fee would be a hardship.)
If one of the classes is cancelled because of weather, a make-up class will be held on March 17th.
