We feel joy in doing things together as a sangha, smiling, singing, working together.
During the time we’re together, we develop our happiness, our purification, and our aspiration.
As our aspiration becomes stronger and stronger, we can face many difficulties
and take action together to help reduce the suffering in the world.
— Thich Nhat Hanh, from Fear: Essential Wisdom For Getting Through The Storm

You are warmly invited to join the Still Water community on Sunday, May 21, for an afternoon of singing, sitting, walking, and sharing.

After several years of coming together primarily online, the Still Water community is wishing to offer some in-person events for those who feel comfortable being in a room with others.

During this community gathering we will gather our collective energy singing Plum Village songs, enjoy a guided and silent meditation, mindfully walk together, and in our Dharma sharing we will explore together the joys and challenges we experience on the path of practice.

The event will be facilitated by Mitchell Ratner, Lori Perine, and other experienced members of the Still Water community.

We would love to have you join us.

We will meet in the OHMC (Opening Heart Mindfulness Community) meditation space at 3812 Northampton Street NW, in Washington DC.

Please register online so we know how many will be coming and so we can send you more information about the event.

If you have questions or concerns, please email info@StillWaterMPC.org.
