Silver Spring Morning Meditation
This morning meditation meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday via Zoom. It begins at 7:00 am Eastern time with 30 minutes of silent meditation, followed by a short break for walking meditation, a mindfulness reading, and Dharma sharing — an opportunity to benefit from each other’s insights and experiences with the practice. The morning practice ends at 8 am.
On Friday mornings, some practitioners stay after the closing bell for breakfast and informal conversation.
This morning meditation grew out of a Silver Spring in-person group and has grown virtually to include practitioners all over the United States and some in Europe. Open to all, it invites practitioners to join whenever and wherever they can.
